I'm from California but have lived in New Orleans and Washington, DC, over the past decade. I have over five years of experience working in libraries and archives and am presently the Archivist and Special Collections Librarian at the Newcomb Archives of Tulane University. I have an M.S. in library and information science with a concentration in cultural heritage information management and an M.A. in anthropology and museum training, and a B.A. in anthropology and women's studies. My professional and academic interests include open culture and the democratic distribution of information, ethics of cultural heritage management, preservation and aggregation of digital objects, post-mortuary rituals, and feminist theories and praxis.
